All patients staying in our hospital, particularly those who are unable to manage their own self-care, have the right to have a companion. For the health, safety, and well-being of our patients throughout the duration of your stay, we kindly request that you strictly adhere to this guide prepared for you:
• A companion is accepted upon the recommendation of the patient's attending physician and subsequent approval by the Hospital Chief Physician.
• Companions must not perform any medical intervention or application on the patient, unless explicitly directed by the attending physician or nurse.
• Companions are responsible for keeping all hospital fixtures, property, and equipment clean and orderly. Any damage caused to hospital property shall be financially compensated by the responsible companion.
• To maintain a peaceful and quiet environment, patients and their relatives must not speak loudly or make noise in patient rooms and ward corridors. Furthermore, televisions in the rooms must be kept at a volume that does not disturb others.
• Companions must strictly follow the usage instructions provided in the room regarding the amenities and furniture designated for their use. Upon the patient's discharge, all hospital items delivered at registration (such as the room TV remote control) must be returned to the floor secretary or nurse against signature.
• Fold-out companion armchairs/beds are available in the patient rooms for the comfort and rest of our companions.
• Ward nurses must be informed immediately of any companion changes or rotations.
• Companions must not take patients outside the hospital or change their designated beds without the explicit request and permission of the attending physician or nurse.
• Companions must not bring food or beverages from outside, and must not give any food or drinks to the patient without consulting the attending physician or nurse.
• The consumption of tobacco products and alcoholic substances is strictly prohibited within all hospital premises. Smoking is banned across all service areas of our hospital, and monetary fines are imposed on violators in accordance with Law No. 4207.
• Companions must not speak loudly in patient rooms and corridors, and must refrain from actions that disturb the staff or other patients.
• Companions must immediately notify the floor nurse if any problem or emergency arises regarding their patient. For patient safety, patient rooms must never be locked while the patient or companion is inside. This safety rule also applies when the patient is taken out of the room for surgery, examinations, or diagnostics.
Thank you for your cooperation and for adhering to our hospital's companion guidelines.
You are special to us...
